Frequencies to Note!

There are so many frequencies to program in your radios. Much of it has to do with your geographic location. Here are some national frequencies you need to put in your radios:


H = Ham Radio

G = GMRS

M= Maritime

F = FRS

S = Simplex

R = Repeater


146.520. National 2 meter calling- H/S

146.420 National 2 meter prepares channel- H/S

146.550 National 2 meter weather channel - H/S

446.000 National 70 cm calling- H/S

446.030 National UHF Prepper channel- H/S


462.675 Encode pl 141.3 - National Emergency Freq G/S

462.675 + 5 Mhz offset necode pl 141.3 National Travel Repeater G/R

462.600. encode 141.3 Prepper Freq G/S


462.5625 FRS Channel 1 F/S

462.6125. FRS Channel 3 - Prepper Channel- F/S


156.800 - Maritime Channel 16- Emergency Calling - M/S

157.100- Maritime Channel 22A- Safety Information Broadcasts- M/S


Note! You need a license to transmit on every one of these except FRS and maritime (for maritime, you must be on the water).
