I have to give credit to so many who have faith. Faith is sometimes elusive. Merriam- Webster defines faith as: allegiance to duty or a person, a firm belief in something for which there is no proof, complete trust. Millions upon millions of people worldwide are looking for something to have faith in. The world is a darkening place, so people are looking for anything to cling to that might give them peace, security, and hope.
The covid-19 vaccine has come along and is being pushed, sold, bribed, foisted into our heads at every turn. You cannot turn on the television or check your feed without the vaccine and its commercials being downloaded into your head. The admonitions from folks like Dr. Fraudci, the news media, big tech gangsters, celebrities, and sports figures are in our faces 24/7. They are militant and unrelenting. Many have found a form of faith in this vaccination and the peddlers of it. I sort of get it. After eighteen months of “flattening the curve” and “moving the goal posts”, and ever-changing, always flip-flopping science, so many humans are tired of the oppression and fear of the virus and are looking for anything to help them get back to what life used to be. People left and right are running toward a needle looking for salvation and the hope of a better day.
If you ask people who have gotten the injection, they will tell you something like “I did it so I wouldn’t have to wear a mask anymore”, “I wanted life to get back to normal”, “it will keep my family and me safe”. You should always follow that question with another. Ask, them how do they know the shot will do what the experts and media giants tell them? I mean, it hasn’t been studied to any degree at all. The super woke will tell you to “just follow the science”. Really? The same science that hasn’t been studied? The same science that has changed virtually every week since January, 2020?
Let’s recap. The CDC and their minions told us we didn’t have to wear a mask, then we did, then we did… maybe wear two or three masks. They said to wear cloth masks, even surgical masks which actual studies have revealed they are completely useless against the miniscule viral particle. If the masks work, why aren’t we treating them like biohazardous waste, instead of hanging on our mirrors and stashing them in our pockets to reuse repeatedly?! We had fourteen days to flatten the curve, but it has really turned into about 514 days. More and more information is leaking out that proves what the crazy “conspiracy theorists” knew all along. Dr Fraudci, the father of the virus, has been studying these coronaviruses for twenty years, maybe longer. He conducted gain of function tests and played games with the virus in the United States until it became illegal 2014. So, he paid his partners and a shell company to move the experimentation to a level four lab…. in Wuhan, China. Pfizer made billions upon billions of dollars in the second quarter of 2021 alone, mostly from vaccine sales. But wait, now they are telling us we will need antiviral medications to help get rid of covid, the vaccines won’t do the job. Antivirals? Maybe they mean hydroxychloroquine and the antiparasitic drug that has been studied and works in countries not necessarily controlled by big pharma? Heavens, no. They want to develop and sell their own antivirals to make another massive profit… er… I mean help people. That’s the science and propaganda far too many are placing their faith in, and the list goes on. Nothing about this pandemic has made a lick of sense since January 2020, and really, since the first covid- sick patients were seen in October of 2019 here in the US. This, along with the fact that nearly 12,000 covid vaccine related deaths and 520,000 adverse reactions from the shot have been reported to the VAERS site (most of these metrics never get reported), and all the anecdotal stories and videos from all over the world of people being irreparably damaged from this vaccine experiment. Folks continue to have faith in these propagandists and scientists and believe they have it right and have our best interest at heart.
I must hand it to these people, they have monumental faith in man-made science!! More than I have, that is for sure. Now, if you ask the same people with this amazing, mind- boggling level of faith if they believe in the power of Jesus to heal them and deliver them from the disease and lead them to a life of peace in eternity, they will scoff, mock, and brush you off as a lunatic.
Can someone help me understand? In the Bible, which is God’s Word that was printed thousands of years ago, we have undeniable evidence of His existence. Romans 1:20 says, “For since the creation of the world His invisible attributes are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even His eternal power and Godhead, so that they are without excuse…”. When you see a beautiful sunrise or sunset, God made that. When you look out over a lake or a sea and observe the dolphins in the depths or the birds in the air, God made that. When you ponder the majesty and perfection of the human body and how it works, we know God did that. When you watch one of your children born, God knitted him or her together for you. We have millions of examples of what God has done all around us. The air we breathe was made by God! The proof is all around us. He supports our earthly lives here on this planet all the time, yet far too many are too haughty to even want to comprehend that. The woke folks will tell you it was a big bang or some other sort of evolutionist nonsense. Maybe a puddle of ammonia had gathered near a pond and a tiny protozoa or bacterium happened to fall into this puddle and suddenly, a flash of lightning hit the puddle of goop and a lizard popped out of it. A living, breathing creature that over the years evolved into what we are today. To put this in perspective, currently, there are over seven billion people on planet earth. From the beginning of time to today, how many people have inhabited the earth in total? 500 billion? 800 billion? A trillion? Who knows? But what I do know is that not one of those people was able to reproduce the primordial soup and electrical charge necessary to produce life. Not one. And many smart people have tried. Yet so many have faith that that is exactly how life began and how we evolved. I don’t have faith in that either.
I guess I am weak in the faith that man can explain and create anything better that what God already has. I am very strong in the faith that God is sovereign and is all knowing. After seeing His creation every day of my life and reading His words in the owner’s manual to life, I choose to rest in the peace knowing Jesus has control over my life and that a virus cannot contain me. The fear of death has been removed and the fear of a flu-like virus has been taken away. In fact, for the believer, we are more than conquerors! “Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us. For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come, nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.”- Roman 8:37-39. To me, that means that no matter the crisis in this fallen world, no matter the level of hysteria and fear peddled by the fear porn media will shake my place in His heavenly kingdom. I have a tried and true, proven and reliable faith in something bigger than anything Dr Fraudci can concoct, or any politician can mandate or prohibit.
As you go about your day, take normal precautions. You should especially wash your hands. But I implore you to slow down, turn off the propagandists, and look around at the incredible world the Lord has made. Give Him thanks and praise. Reinvest any time fearing the virus and wasted hours worrying about the numbers and open your Bibles. Read the reassuring words found in it and the timeless, limitless, proven, rock solid faith that only God can provide. In a darkening and perilous world, now is not the time for fear. It is the time for faith. Well placed faith. Psalm 46 says “God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble. Therefore we will not live in fear, though the earth give way and mountains falls into the heart of the sea, though its waters roar and foam and the mountains quake with their surging.”
