Quick Evan update:
Tuesday of this week, Evan went to the hospital for bloodwork. His values were great!! Wednesday he was admitted for a lumbar puncture and intrathecal methotrexate. He then Started his second round of the immunotherapy drug Blinatumomab. Last night he developed and kept a 104F fever, tachycardia, and tachypnea all night long. This is sort of expected with the start of this therapy since it triggers an immune system response. They gave him IV Tylenol and oral ibuprofen which had little effect. Today he is somewhat better. He spiked a fever a few hours ago, but it didn’t last long. We are hopeful he can come home tomorrow but have to wait and see. Jess is staying with him. I am home with Alivia. It’s hard being separated! We took them Chick Fil A and some other goodies from home today. We didn’t get to see Evan due to the visitor restrictions. Keep praying for Evan.
Bless his sweet little heart...sending you all love and abundant prayers...love you all!
Prayers for little Evan 🙏 Stay strong 🙏
